You applied for a Direct Deposit, your ID couldn't be verified, and now you've had to supply ID documents – what's up with that?

If your identification couldn't be verified automatically, then we'll ask you to submit your ID documents manually. This could be your SSN, your address or your photo ID.

Unfortunately if your documents didn't pass the manual checks, we're unable to sign you up for a Direct Deposit at this moment in time.
