Yes, you can use your Credit Builder Card to withdraw money from an ATM. This is called a card cash advance.

What is a card cash advance?

A card cash advance is when you use your credit card to withdraw cash from an ATM or a bank.

It’s called a “card cash advance” because you withdraw money that your credit card issuer advances you. The money comes from a line of credit that is secured by the security deposit, not your bank account.

You can do this with your Credit Builder Card.

What are the card cash advance fees?

There’s a $2.50 fee every time you get a card cash advance. You may be charged more by the ATM provider.

What are my card cash advance limits?

You can withdraw up to 90% of your credit limit from an ATM as long as your security deposit covers the following amounts:

  • Daily limit: up to $300, with a maximum of 2 ATM transactions per day

  • Weekly limit: up to $400

  • Monthly limit: up to $600

Can I add money to my security deposit via an ATM?

No, you can’t add money from an ATM. The only way to add money to the security deposit of your Credit Builder Card is through the app.
