What can I use my Cleo Card to pay for?
You can use your Cleo Card pretty much like any other credit card. You can use it for:
bills
gas
online payments
What can't I use my Cleo Card to pay for?
You cannot use your Cleo Card for:
crypto purchases
business purchases
Your Cleo Card is subject to the same limitations as any other credit card. That means you cannot use it anywhere a debit card is required.
This also means you cannot use your Cleo Card to:
repay your cash advance
pay your Grow, Plus, or Builder subscription
Does the Cleo Card support tap-to-pay or contactless payments?
You can add your digital card to your Apple or Google wallet and use it with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
For physical cards, you will be able to use contactless if you have a brown Cleo Card, issued after June 2025. The original blue Cleo Cards use chip and PIN for payments.
What happens if I try to pay for something but have insufficient funds on my card?
If you try to pay for something but have insufficient funds in the security deposit, your transaction will be declined. But don't sweat – you can increase your available credit limit any time.

Enter your passcode
You'll then see a visual of your card number, expiry date, and CVV number.
